From farmhouse basement to full-service print shop…

Pro-Type started as a one-woman operation back in 1981.  Passionate about the creative process of printing and dedicated to the idea of exceptional customer service, owner Robin Niewold bought a used printing press and set it up in the basement of her family farmhouse. From the basement…to a shed…to a renovated building on Main Street in Paxton, year by year the business continued to grow.  Thirty years later, Pro-Type employs 10 hard-working staff members and serves businesses all over Central Illinois, with offices in both Paxton and Bloomington. Many of our products are distributed nationwide.
